Welcome!

Welcome to this first post of VT Prosim. This blog is to document efforts to show support and solidarity for the students at Virginia Tech who have suffered a terrible tragedy. Our hope is to send 300 small care packages to the resident assistants (RAs) at VT. RAs are the first line of support for students who live on campus, and we'd like to boost their spirits since they have to be strong not just for themselves, but also for entire residence halls of students.

For those of you wondering, VT Prosim is a verbal contortion of VT's school motto "UT PROSIM" which in Latin means "That I May Serve". Written in the original Roman letters, "UT" would actually be written as "VT" and, well, that seems to suit our needs just fine.
